The rising sun flag is pretty great too (design wise). I guess it’s a clever mashup but I’m looking for meaning. Why 41 stars? Inside one big meta star? Is it a statement about Japan’s return as a military power or Japan being a sycophant to the US? (Did y’all see that giggle-hop fan girl hug Takaichi gave trump?) The flag is certainly provocative.
